frustrated by: Jean I am a 36 year old female. Not very active but I walk and use a stationary bike. In feb 2009, I fell down a couple of stairs and sustained an avulsion fracture of the talus and calcaneous bones.
I have seen two orthopedic surgeons, and now scheduled to see a physical medicine and rehab doctor.I did everything right, wore the boot cast for almost 5 months, an ASO brace for 6 weeks, got off crutches in July and I still have migratory pain in different parts of my ankle.
Every doctor tells me to do everything I used to do so I still walk to get the bus, go to school, teach a few hours a week etc.
Live in a three-level home so I go up and down the stairs multiple times a day.
The pain is not getting better and physical therapy made things worse. What do I do?
