Swollen and Hot Stabbing Pains from Instep to Toes Port Richey FL

The sad reality is that sometimes a problem like a broken ankle, even with proper rest, will be an ongoing problem particularly if you have a line of work that requires you to be on your feet for long periods of time. Ankle splints come in various designs so if you happen to be wearing a splint (and it is not helping) you should consider trying a different type of splint.

Hi Kay,
The sad reality is that sometimes a problem like a broken ankle, even with proper rest, will be an ongoing problem particularly if you have a line of work that requires you to be on your feet for long periods of time.
Since I do not know your age or weight or other pertinent information I can only make limited suggestions.
One would be to have another xray to make sure the break is completely healed. If so, you should inquire about physical therapy of move the healing process along more quickly and lastly you should be wearing an ankle splint of some sort. Ankle splints come in various designs so if you happen to be wearing a splint (and it is not helping) you should consider trying a different type of splint.
