I'm a Vet and have VA insurance, but dont want to spend a day at the hospital if all they're gonna tell me is ice it up. I've had gout and this doesnt feel like it. Its more internal and has no exterior pain spot as all my gout has had. Any Ideas as to what this is? I thank you for any help.

My father is 84 years old and he is having terrible pain on the bottom of his feet that is disrupting hos active lifestyle. He still works full time as an accountant and has an active social life. His pain is realy upsetting him. I have been to many doctors and I know he has a loss of fatty tissue on the bottom of his feet so he no longer has cushioning.

Treatment of wart-like bumps on bottoms of feet is usually to have them curetted (carved out). In some cases this solves the problem, in others it helps the problem but the lesions do come back.

Three weeks ago I stepped off of a curb, twisted my ankle, and broke my 5th metatarsal bone. I went to the ER that evening and the break was confirmed by x-ray. The ER doctor said that the break was in a place that sometimes has problems uniting and may need surgery. He put a fiberglass splint on my foot with instructions to see an orthopedist in 2 to 3 days. He said that I should not put any weight on my foot.

My 13 year old daughter had about 50 warts on her feet.They were all on the underside of her foot,between her toes. They were everywhere. I tried compound w, the duct tape theory,nail polish. I didn't try the freezing method--simply due to the cost and pain level. I looked online for herbal cures and such.Came across the apple cider vinegar theory. I thought "why not?", I had it in my cabinet.I dabbed some cotton(take the tip off a Q tip and ball it up) squeeze out the excess but leave it sort of damp.Place it on the wart and cover with a bandaide. I did this after her bath for the night,due to the stinky smell of the vinegar. I then made her wear a sock to keep the bandaide and cotton on. To know more, please read on.
